Both are available online, and both are absolute must-reads. William Langewiesche is brilliant as always in his profile of postwar Baghdad, which is by far the most important article of the two. But Joshua Green’s profile of Karl Rove’s campaign tactics is particularly timely — I’m going to be gritting my teeth from here to election day wondering what his last-ditch ploy is going to be.
